American entrepreneur who founded the data-labeling company Scale AI in 2016 at age 19 after dropping out of MIT, building it into a key supplier of human-labeled training data for leading AI labs and becoming one of the youngest self-made billionaires. In 2025 Meta invested roughly $14 billion for a large stake in Scale AI and brought Wang in to lead its new Superintelligence Labs as Chief AI Officer, with senior researchers such as Andrew Tulloch reporting to him. Born in 1997 in New Mexico to physicist parents.
