With a physical-chemistry PhD from MIT, he co-founded Google Life Sciences (later Verily, where he was Chief Science Officer), then served as CSO of Grail and CEO of Foresite Labs, leaving in early 2026 to focus on Prometheus. Also an adjunct professor at Stanford.
