Founder and CEO of VAST, the Beijing AI 3D foundation-model company behind Tripo. Born 1997; BS from Johns Hopkins University. Joined SenseTime in 2019 to work on AIGC 3D, moved to its AI gaming unit in 2021, then took part in founding MiniMax as employee No. 001. Founded VAST in November 2022. In under six months of 2026 VAST raised about RMB 5.7B across A3, B and B+ rounds -- the B/B+ (about RMB 3B, September 2026) led by Matrix Partners China with game publishers Perfect World, 37Games and Yanqu among the investors -- a record for 3D-native AI. ARR reached $12M by July 2025; Tripo Studio serves millions of creators and its education program spans 350+ universities in 30+ countries.
