唐杰 Jie TangJie Tang

Professor at the Department of Computer Science at Tsinghua University. Founded and led the AMiner academic search system. Tasked by the Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence (BAAI) to build China's first super-scale natural language model, completed in 2021. Founded Zhipu AI to commercialize this work, creating the GLM (General Language Model) series that has become one of China's leading foundation models. Zhipu AI is now valued at over $3B and is considered one of the 'Big Four' Chinese AI foundation model companies alongside Baidu, Alibaba, and ByteDance's AI labs.
